Heartbreak

Episode 1

There is this quote that always makes my heart feel warm and it goes like this:

“Love who you love while you have them. That's all you can do. Let them go when you must. If you know how to love, you'll never run out.” Ann Brashares

Heartbreak is one of the most universal experiences we'll ever go through. It can feel excruciatingly lonely and isolating, especially if we don’t share our pain with others. Heartbreak is one of the topics I’m extremely passionate about exploring which is why I created the For•give project. One of the reasons I created it is to shed some light on the shame and vulnerability that comes with heartbreak. Usually, we either share our heartbreak stories with very close friends or we don’t share them at all. Accordingly, we think that our heartbreak story is very unique and individualized, but the reality is that it’s actually a very universal human experience. So in order to help with the healing process I asked you to write an anonymous letter of forgiveness to the one that broke your heart. You can read the letters here and you can submit your own here.

Check out the resources I’ve gathered below on the topic of heartbreak.
