Regeneration
Inspired by the love I have for my عمته “great aunt” and her love for jewelry, especially brooches, who passed away in 2019 while I was away at school. She was a fierce & generous woman who would constantly offer me her precious jewelry and clothes that she would personally knit as gifts. This is dedicated to her fierceness, to her generosity and to her love for jewelry.

Regeneration started as an exploration of bringing the old into a new and restored existence; old material, old norms, and old loss. It is a process of using meditative techniques to bring forth, recycle, and create artisanal beauty.
With each bead, gem, and thread hand sewn individually, the process of creating a single brooch took approximately 18 to 25 hours. The creation process soon turned into a state of flow for me where I was able to recycle and assemble old and new material.
I wanted this entire process to embody my values and beliefs about humanity and my genuine concern for the environment. Therefore, I made sure to use recycled material while creating the brooches and design recyclable packaging in order to reduce waste.
I had a vision to create luxurious packaging that would safely hug the brooch on its way to you, and then release it to take on a life of its own. The lavish packaging can be turned into a pouch, a small backpack or a handbag.
These pure handcrafted brooches are infused with love and are ethically made.
